Knowledgebase: ALMA Observing Tool (OT)
How do I specify time constraints in my proposal?
Posted by Sarah Wood, Last modified by Kazuya Saigo on 11 March 2019 09:46 AM

In the Control & Performance editor of the OT you can choose between two types of time-constrained observations:

  • Single visit: the observation needs to be executed only once within either one or several possible time windows. You can enter these possible time windows either interactively in the OT or load them from an external ASCII file.
  • Multiple visits: the observations need to be repeated several times, either at specific dates (within a time margin) or relative to a previous visit.

Please refer to relevant section of the Proposer's Guide for more information on time-critical and monitoring observation.
