Knowledgebase: General ALMA Queries
If my project was not completed in the current cycle and transferred into the next cycle, what will its ranking be relative to the new proposals?

If not completed by the end of the Cycle, previous Cycle observing programs assigned grade A will be carried over to the following Cycle.

The relative scheduling priority ranking of programs will proceed as follows (see the ALMA Proposers Guide in the Documents and Tools Section of the ALMA Science Portal):

  1. Previous Cycle Grade A
  2. Current Cycle Grade A
  3. Current Cycle Grade B
  4. Current Cycle Grade C

Please refer to the Proposal Evaluation and Selection section of the ALMA Proposers Guide in the Documents and Tools Section of the ALMA Science Portal to review how grades are assigned to individual proposals.
