Which frequency setup is possible for solar observations?
Posted by Misato Fukagawa, Last modified by Kazuya Saigo on 28 February 2020 02:14 AM

The LO1 frequency for solar observations is fixed to 100 GHz for Band 3, 198 GHz for Band5, 239 GHz for Band 6 and  346.6 GHz for Band 7. Only proposals for continuum observations will be accepted. For the interferometric observations, these will be obtained using the low spectral resolution (TDM) mode, and the high spectral resolution (FDM) mode is not offered (please see Appendix Section "Solar Observations" in Proposer's Guide).
