We submitted schedule blocks for our ALMA cycle 0 observations. How can we track the current status of this project?

In the future, users who have submitted Schedule Blocks (SBs) will be able to use the Project Tracker to check on the status of their scheduled observing projects (section 4.2 of the ALMA Proposers Guide v1.1). However, for ALMA Cycle 0, a PI will not be notified until the Schedule Block has been successfully executed the required number of times, has been calibrated and initially imaged by ALMA staff, has passed quality control, and has been transferred to the ARCs for distribution. ALMA Cycle 0 observations are conducted on a "best efforts" basis, so we cannot at present give an expected timeline for this process.

PI's may ask their ARC Contact Scientist if any of their SBs have been successfully executed (using the helpdesk ticket opened to approve the SBs), but the contact scientist will in general not be able to judge how far towards completion the project is, or the potential outcome of the calibration, imaging, and quality assurance process. We ask for your patience in this inaugural observing season.
